So what does the name tee2i mean?

Well it's shorthand for the independence index. This blog takes independence seriously. There's no problem, in principle, with a country being part of a confederation or partnership, the UK is part of NATO. But the EU is a failing confederation and our independence was threatened by membership, so we voted to leave. There's also the independence of thought which must, obviously, lead to free speech. The popularity of cancel culture must be challenged. Also politics is more than about leaning left or rightward on any issue, it's far more subtle than that. It's all down to the quality of life so let's aim high. It's our right to do so.

Tots taught to taunt

directgovkids I learn that the DfES had set up a website called DirectgovKids in order to teach children about their rights and their society. I was intrigued by the reference to a quiz about naming a police dog and how the site cautions against naming the dog 'Snowflake' as it mimsily asks: “I wonder how many of you knew the term Snowflake is sometimes used among the Afro-Caribbean community in quite a different way?”

Now, I didn't find this out directly on the site as it was rather labyrinthine. I checked that it was a term for white people by simply googling 'snowflake derogatory term'.

How many children would think of naming a police dog Snowflake? How often have you seen a white police dog? The question surely is, why not?

has been lost In 1975 there were 5,000 heroin addicts in the UK. Now there are estimated to be 281,000 in England alone. We have the highest level of drug addiction in Europe. Perhaps it's time to admit that the war is lost and that the war may be causing more harm than the drugs.

The USA has spent billions helping build a narco-state in Columbia and other countries are following this pattern.Herbicides used to destroy coca and poppy also destroy the soil. In 1964 The Dangerous Drugs Act marked the beginning of the end of the 'British system' of allowing doctors to prescribe drugs to addicts in a regulated and safe manner.

Khat is legal in the UK and costs £15 per kilo. In the USA ,where it is illegal, it costs over £200. I wonder why?

Iran-dress One hundred and fifty thousand Iranian women were arrested in Iran during a mere four days at the end of April 2007. Their crime? Immodest dress. A spokeswoman for RESPEKT says that this does not detract from the right for British muslim women to wear the veil in all circumstances. British women have, after all, freedom of choice.

John Briggs of Loughborough was fined £5000 yesterday at Loughborough Magistrates' Court. He was charged under the new EU directive to counter racicm, xenophobia and rationalism.

Mr.Briggs claimed that it was ridiculous to be allowed to say that Stalin never hurt a fly but not to be able to say that global warming was not mainly caused by man.

The magistrate, Ms.Djxeblinski, dismissed this argument as silly and counter to the European spirit.
